It's beginning to look a lot like a recovery for Boracay Island as tourists continue to crowd the world-renowned Island.
According to the Malay tourism office's data, in just the first week of December, 15,601 went to visit Boracay Island.
It's more than half of the tourist arrivals compared to the whole month of September.
Recall that on September 8, the Island was officially opened to domestic tourists after the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) placed the Aklan province under a much-eased quarantine classification.
Since that day, travelers going to the famous white beach gradually increased.
Below is the list of the number of visitors who arrived in Boracay per region:

Meanwhile, in the records, more female tourists went to Boracay with 7,781 in total, than male visitors with 7,760.
As for the age groups, ages 13-59 years old still overwhelm the list with 13,932, while 1,159 tourists are ages 0-12, and lastly, there were 510 travellers ages 60 and up.
Most visitors also traveled by air than land or sea; 12,623 traveled by air, 176 by sea, and 2,802 by land.
