4 Boracay tourists apprehended at Tabon Port Caticlan for tampering their RT-PCR Test

Four tourists from the NCR were apprehended by the Malay, Police yesterday night for tampering with their RT-PCR Test Result to enter the Island of Boracay.

According to Lt. Col Don Dicksie De Dios of the Malay PNP, at around 6:00 pm, the four male tourists were detained at the Tabon Port Caticlan.

The Tabon Port staff detected that the tourist tampered with the dates of their RT-PCR test results.

They were then quickly brought to a Quarantine Facility in Kalibo, where they will undergo a mandatory swab test scheduled today.

Lt. Col De Dios said that they would file charges against the four tourists for violating the RA 11332 or the Mandatory Reporting of Notifiable Diseases and Article 172 of Revised Penal Code of Use of Falsified Documents.
