At least 50 organizations and private groups with hundreds of volunteers participated in the Malay-Boracay Wide Simultaneous Clean-Up Activity last February 13.
It's a clean-up program for 2021 as well as a ceremonial launch of the LGU-Malay Tourism Office together with other community and business organizations to mainly raise environmental awareness and to protect our home, our mother Earth.

The program, Feb-Ibig Para sa Malay "Plant a tree, Clean up Day" started with a Zumba at 5:30 am in Uptown Boracay where men, women, students, children, young adults, and adults came together to help clean and collect trash from underwater, the sea and to the summit. Equipped by masks, gloves, and sticks they went out to protect what matters most, the environment. The event went on from early in the morning till the afternoon.

It was attended by the Boracay Inter-Agency Rehabilitation Management Group General Manager, Director, Natividad Bernardino with Malay Mayor, Frolibar Bautista as well as other Boracay Stakeholders, organizations, and volunteers.
