6 tourists in Boracay were arrested, because of Fake Negative RT PCR Results

Once again, tourists using fake RT-PCR test result have entered Boracay Island.

This was confirmed by the Provincial/Jetty Port Administrator Atty. Selwyn Ibarreta in an interview at Radyo Todo, stated that 6 tourists were apprehended last night after knowing that they have used a fake RT PCR test result.

They were identified as:
Junhle Lopez, 29; Xavier Bamba, 24; John Aldrin Sapon, 20; Nikka Brilliantes, 22; Cathy Prosimo, 35; and one 17 years old.

Ibarreta explained that they were given a probationary QR code that they used to board the airplane yesterday.

Furthermore, he stated that the tourists were out of the Caticlan Airport before they could ever receive a reply from the verification team from the molecular laboratory at St. Luke’s Medical Center based in Quezon City.

Because of this they immediately called the hotel that they have written on the Online Health Declaration Card. The hotel stated that they didn't have an online reservation.

The resorts also denied that the aforementioned tourists were able to book them.

However, these tourists were traced after they had walked-in a hotel at So. Cagban, Brgy. Manocmanoc, Boracay. They were then taken to Marzon Hotel Kalibo.

Because of this, Ibarreta said that they will not be sending probationary QR codes to tourists even if the plane misses them.

He also reminded them that tourists should fill- up their online health declaration card 24 hours before the actual flight because they will not give them their QR code without a reply from the molecular laboratories.
