In the whole month of September, Boracay Island saw more than 6,700 tourists visiting its shores, with an average of 220 travelers going to the Island per day.
From September 1 until September 30, the Malay Tourism Office recorded 6,702 tourists who went to Boracay.
According to their data, those coming from the National Capital Region (NCR) led the record with a total of 4,614 travelers, with Aklan following in from behind with 555 tourists.

It also shows that more male tourists visited Boracay Island with 3,497 than female travelers with 3,205.
Meanwhile, in terms of age groups, ages 13-59 accounts for 6,382 of the total visitor arrivals to Boracay, while there were 205 who were ages 0-12 years old, and 115 tourists are ages 60 and up.
Furthermore, people travel by air the most with 5,511, followed by land with 910 and lastly, sea with 281.
