Boracay Island's tourist arrivals are reaching their pre-pandemic levels as over 150,000 travelers visited the famous white beach for the whole month of March.
As pandemic restrictions continue to ease, more and more tourists flock to the Island.
According to the MalayTourism Office data, a total of 150,597, where 2,533 accounts for foreign tourists and the rest comprises of OFWs and domestic travelers went to Boracay from March 1 to 31.
The figure is even higher compared to the number of tourist arrivals last December 2021, with 113,596.
Tourists from the United States make up most of the international tourist arrivals with 603, followed by the United Kingdom with 211, and the United Arab Emirates with 201.
On April 1, the Philippines started to accept international travelers from any country. With this, Boracay will expect more tourists to come to its shores.

More female travelers visited Boracay Island with 77, 462 than male tourists with 73, 335.
Visitors are also mostly ages 13-59 with 131,259, while 0-12 years old accounts for 13,631, and only 5,707 are ages 60 and up.
More tourists traveled by air than land or sea; 118,824 traveled by air, 8,448 by sea, and 23,325 by land.
