BORACAY, Malay–Due to the rise of cases of COVID-19 in Boracay, the local Government of Malay tightens the restrictions on the operation of restaurants and food parks.
A notice issued by the LGU of Malay yesterday, March 29, states that they will temporarily suspend all live shows, bands, and other live entertainment on restaurants and food parks in the island.
Furthermore, the Malay Composite Team will perform a random inspection on restaurants and food parks operations, to ensure that the minimum public health standards are being strictly followed.
Bars are still not allowed to operate in accordance with Executive Order No. 37, S.2020 of the Provincial Government of Aklan.
Moreover, 31 hotels of Boracay are currently under a surgical lockdown for 14 days that started this March 28 up until April 10.
