Tourists visiting Boracay may already experience paraw sailing and other select water sports activities starting this weekend.
Paraw sailing, kayaking, and kite surfing will again be allowed starting Saturday, November, Environment Secretary Roy Cimatu said recently.
Water sports activities have been temporarily suspended even after the island was reopened to tourists on Oct. 26 after a six-month rehabilitation to give way for its marine biodiversity assessment.
Other water sports activities as well as diving activities will eventually ve resumed in stages, based on previous media interviews of Cimatu.
Meanwhile, all accredited hotels and accommodations in the island are likewise fully booked for this long weekend for the All Saints and All Souls Day celebration.
To note, the Department of Tourism has already accredited 157 accommodation establishments in Boracay which are allowed to reoperate since the island’s reopening last week.
