Local Airline Cebu Pacific announces its annual P1 fare seat sale in celebration of their 25th anniversary despite the COVID-19 pandemic halting the travel industry all around the Philippines.
Cebu Pacific's Vice President for marketing and customer experience, Candice Iyog, said that the P1 fare seat sale starts today March 3 to 5 2021, in a media conference yesterday.
“We will be announcing our one-peso seat sale on all domestic destinations, beginning tomorrow, or midnight tonight. The sale will run from March 3 to 5. It’ll be for travel from June to December [this year],” she says.
Furthermore, the Inter-Agency Task Force Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) issued a resolution recently that testing and quarantine is no longer a mandatory requirement. Which makes the event sale highly timely as it eases the travel requirements and expenses for travelers.
“Travel restrictions and requirements, really are on top of the considerations and concerns of travelers now when they make the decision to travel again,” she says.
“Now the good news is, last Friday, IATF issued resolution 101 simplifying the travel protocols and harmonizing them across the LGUs," she added.
