Cebu Pacific announced that it would limit the height of passenger baggage sizes to 39 inches starting February 1 to ensure smoother operations.
Anything beyond 39 inches is oversized and passenger will be charged of P800 fee for domestic and P1,300 fee for international, Cebu Pacific said.
Examples of oversized baggage are musical equipment, motorcycles, sports equipment, oversized bags, televisions, etc., the Airline said.
According to the Cebu Pacific, every passenger is allowed only one hand carry baggage inside the cabin, with a maximum weight of seven kilogram. No other additional bags will be allowed, even if it's laptops, toiletries, food, etc. While a checked-in bag cannot exceed 32kg per piece.
It added, that the bag size limit will result in a faster and more convenient journey and will ensure easier fitting in the conveyor belt.
