AirAsia Philippines Alters Flight Schedules Due to Tropical Storm Enteng

In response to the impact of Tropical Storm Enteng on flight operations, AirAsia Philippines issues advisory regarding modifications to the flight schedule for September 2, 2024.

Several flights to and from Manila have been cancelled as a precautionary measure amidst the challenging weather conditions.

Passengers seeking to adjust their bookings can conveniently do so online through AirAsia MOVE or airasia.com. By accessing the “Booking Changes” section and selecting “Flight Change,” guests can indicate that their flight was altered by AirAsia and proceed with making the necessary adjustments to their reservations.

For those affected by the flight cancellations, AirAsia Philippines offers Standard Recovery Options (SRO) to address their travel needs.

These options include a free change flight allowing guests to select a new travel date within 30 days from the original departure date, credit account retention for future travel with AirAsia, or a full refund equivalent to the booking amount refunded to the original form of payment.

Steve Dailisan, AirAsia Philippines Communications & Public Affairs Head and First Officer, emphasized the airline’s prioritization of safety in all flight decisions, especially in response to potential risks posed by Tropical Storm Enteng.

Proactive measures have been undertaken in coordination with aviation authorities to assess flight viability and implement necessary adjustments to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers and crew members.

As the situation continues to evolve, passengers are advised to stay informed about their flight statuses through the AirAsia MOVE app’s “flight status” tab, visit @flyairasiaph on social media platforms, refer to www.newsroom.airasia.com, and monitor their registered mobile phones and email accounts for updates.

AirAsia remains dedicated to providing timely and reliable information to passengers during this dynamic weather event.
