Boracay, one of the Philippines’ top island destinations, had been recognized as leading travel spots in Asia.
According to TimesTravel of The Times of India, Boracay secured the fourth spots in the list of the “8 Most Visited Island Destinations in Asia.”
Boracay, ranking fourth on the list, is known for its water sports, vibrant nightlife, and the popular White Beach with its powdery white sand.
Another Philippine jewel, Palawan, landed the third spot. Often referred to as the “last frontier of the Philippines” and famous for its pristine natural beauty, stunning limestone cliffs, and turquoise waters in El Nido and Coron, Palawan is also home to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Puerto Princesa Subterranean River.
The list is topped by Bali in Indonesia, followed by Phuket in Thailand, Palawan, Boracay, Maldives, Langkawi in Malaysia, Havelock Island in India, and Jeju Island in South Korea.
