In the 17th annual DestinAsian Readers’ Choice Awards, Boracay has secured the fifth spot on the list of favorite islands in Asia, according to the votes of discerning travelers. Known for its powdery white sand beaches and vibrant nightlife, Boracay continues to captivate travelers with its natural beauty and warm hospitality.
The top ten list is dominated by islands in Southeast Asia, with Phuket, Thailand in third place, and Koh Samui, Thailand in fourth place. Notably, Bali has been crowned as the favorite island in Asia.
The awards also recognize 230 top properties in Southeast Asia, including boutique hotels, along with new categories for city hotels and resorts. The comprehensive list covers a range of travel experiences, from places to stay and cities to islands, cruise routes, and favorite airlines.
