Boracay’s new online registration system, the Boracay iPass, officially launched today, December 19, 2024. This system simplifies the payment process for terminal, environmental, and boat fees.
The iPass allows tourists to pay for all three fees online. According to Ariel Surca, President of Pisopay, payment options include GCash, PayMaya, bank transfers, and over-the-counter payments at 7-Eleven and other partner outlets.
The Boracay iPass is for both local and foreign tourists traveling to and from Boracay Island. Surca also announced plans to launch a version of the iPass for Aklan locals in 2025 to make boat ticket purchases easier.
Aklan Governor Joen Miraflores confirmed that all fees collected will go directly to the accounts of the CBTMPC, LGU Malay, and the Aklan Province environmental fee fund.
