Boracay, Philippines — As thousands of tourists flock to the island paradise for the annual Love Boracay festivities, Globe Telecom is making sure everyone stays connected, mobile, and digitally ready for every sunset selfie, cashless transaction, and “last night na gid ni” moment.

Ahead of the Labor Day peak of the Love Boracay 2026 celebration, Globe has strengthened its network infrastructure across Boracay, reinforcing what it calls the country’s widest 5G coverage and most consistent mobile network experience.
With over 30 5G sites strategically positioned across the island, Globe now delivers stronger and more reliable connectivity in Boracay’s busiest hotspots, including the iconic White Beach and the adrenaline-filled Bulabog area. Whether visitors are livestreaming beach parties, uploading TikToks before the signal drops elsewhere, or simply checking in with family back home, Globe aims to keep the island digitally seamless even during high-traffic periods.
But beyond stronger signal bars and faster uploads, Globe is also putting the spotlight on something more meaningful this year: community-first experiences.
As Boracay continues its journey balancing tourism growth and environmental sustainability following its landmark rehabilitation, Globe is rolling out initiatives that aim to benefit not only tourists, but also the local community that keeps the island alive long after the beach parties end.
From May 1 to 3, Globe will offer its e-Trike Libreng Sakay, giving both residents and tourists free rides around Boracay island. The eco-friendly initiative is open to Globe subscribers—present the Globe network icon on your mobile phone together with a government or company ID for quick verification by on-ground brand ambassadors.
Non-Globe users can also hop on board by purchasing and activating a Globe Prepaid SIM at designated event booths.
Because in Boracay, every peso saved on transportation means one more fruit shake, seafood dinner, or extra round of sunset cocktails.
Globe also brings its services closer to festival-goers through interactive on-ground activations at D’Talipapa from May 1 to 3. Visitors can avail of 5G SIM purchases, GlobeOne App downloads, SIM registration assistance, and 5G promo loading.
Guests joining Globe’s QR survey may also receive free tote bags, while Globe At Home offers exclusive freebies for UnliSurf 749 loads and plan applications.
These services and promos are likewise available at the Globe Microshop located at Budget Mart EMall Station 3 until May 15.
“At Globe, we’re delivering better connectivity and experiences that will make Love Boracay more festive and unforgettable, especially amid today’s challenges,” said Roche Vandenberghe.
By combining upgraded network performance with purposeful on-ground initiatives, Globe helps ensure that Love Boracay 2026 becomes more than just another beach festival. It becomes a more inclusive, community-centered celebration where connectivity powers not just content creation, but also convenience, mobility, and meaningful experiences for both locals and tourists alike.
