The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines has once again been recognized for its exceptional work, securing the title of “Best National Tourism Organization in Asia” at the prestigious 33rd TTG Travel Awards, held on September 26, 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand.
This marks the second consecutive year the TPB has received this honor, solidifying its position as a leading force in promoting the Philippines as a top travel and MICE destination in Asia.
The award, voted on by over 100,000 subscribers of TTG Travel Trade Publishing’s print and online titles worldwide, reflects the TPB’s ongoing commitment to showcasing the Philippines’ unique offerings to the global travel community.
TPB COO Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles accepted the award during a ceremony honoring excellence in the Asian tourism industry.
This recognition comes at a pivotal time for the Philippine tourism sector, which is experiencing a strong rebound following the pandemic.
The TPB’s efforts to promote the Philippines on the global MICE stage are playing a key role in this recovery, as evidenced by the organization’s active participation in the Incentive Travel & Conventions Meetings Asia (IT&CMA) event, where it showcased the Philippines as a leading MICE destination alongside 21 Philippine MICE stakeholders.
This latest award further strengthens the TPB’s position as a leading force in promoting the Philippines as a top travel destination.
Boracay, known for its pristine beaches and vibrant nightlife, is looking forward to seeing how the TPB will leverage this recognition to further enhance the island’s tourism appeal and attract even more visitors to its shores.
